Change the Glass windows 10 log-in display background

You don't need to stare at the House windows logo each and every time you enter your password.

You've probably discovered right now that Home windows 10 actually has two log-in monitors: The lock display and the log-in display. The lock display is customizable, however the login display -- where you type your security password -- is not. You're jammed with a dark blue track record and a bright, light-throwing Windows emblem.

Or are you?

Well, actually, you will not be when Glass windows 10's summer-slated Redstone revise drops. Inside the House windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14291, Microsoft has added a choice showing the lock display qualifications picture on the log-in display.
If you're operating Build 14291 or later, simply mind to the Adjustments menu and go to Personalization > Lock display screen and scroll down until the simple truth is Show lock display screen record picture on the sign-in display screen. Toggle this environment to On.

This is only going to work if you are working Build 14291 or later. If you are operating Build 10586 or later (however, not 14291), you will see the next option, which enables you to choose the log-in display screen background (the House windows brand) or a good color (if you flip this program off):
Additionally, there is another fix, but it's more difficult.

Alert: This "fix" does indeed involve editing and enhancing the Home windows Registry, and misediting the Registry can cause your personal computer to stop operating. If you aren't completely comfortable editing and enhancing the Registry, I recommend keeping the default Home windows 10 log-in display screen for now.

1. Head to Start > All software > House windows System > Run. Type regedit in the Run press and textbox Enter. This may open the Registry Editor.

2. Inside the Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Insurance policies > Microsoft > Glass windows > System.
3. Right-click System and click New > DWORD (32-tad) Value. Label this new DWORD DisableLogonBackgroundImage.
4. Right-click DisableLogonBackgroundImage and click Modify.
5. Under Value data: type 1 (default will be 0). Click Alright. (To change back again to the default Glass windows log-in display screen, change this value back again to 0.)

6. Press House windows key + L to lock your personal computer. While you login, you will notice a set color backdrop (it'll be the same color as your accent color) rather than the flashy Home windows screen. If you wish to change the colour of the new log-in qualifications, just go to settings> Personalization > Colors and select a new accent color.
