cebook has spent a complete lot of time beefing up iphone app integration inside its Messenger platform, adding support for services which range from Uber to repayments to goofy cartoon images to brighten the mood.
Monday on, Dropbox and Facebook declared Messenger users will have the capability to easily share data stored in the cloud-storage service using Facebook's messaging program.
To be able to use the new feature, ensure that your Google android or iOS device gets the latest version of the Dropbox [Android os | iOS] and Facebook Messenger [Android os | iOS] applications.
With both programs updated, next time you're in a discussion and want to send a data file, faucet on the "More" button (three-dot icon right above the computer keyboard). Find and choose Dropbox from the set of services, and faucet on Open. The very first time you decide on Dropbox, you need to grant agreement for Facebook Messenger to gain access to your data files. Once that's done, decide on a record you want to send and let Dropbox do its magic. A couple of seconds later, Messenger will start with the decided on data file mounted on your dialog.
The recipient obtaining the document can view the document in Messenger, or start it in his / her Dropbox account.
Facebook areas that the feature is moving out, so if even after upgrading you do not see Dropbox shown as something, keep checking out the list.
